Squares of two Digit Numbers


The Quantitative  Shortcuts helps the aspirants to find the square of two digit numbers easily.In order to do so,aspirants can follow these steps.

Step-1

Find the difference for the number of which you need the square from 25.This will be the first two digit of the answer.

Step-2

Find the square of the difference for the number from 50.This will be the last two digit of the answer.

In case of Carry Over ADD the carry over to the answer derived through the first Step.

Example

If we want to find the Square of 52² then follow the following step.

Step-1

Find the difference from 25

That is 52-25=27       ( 27 )

Step-2

Find the difference from 50

That is 52-50=02       (02)

Step-3

Now we have to find the square of ( 02) 

That is 〈02)²=04                (04)

 

So the final answer will be 2704
