This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use, and protect your information in full adherence to the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement, Google User Data Policies, and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to provide educational mock tests, chapter-wise learning, and daily job notification alerts:

• Account Information: Name, email address, mobile number (used strictly for secure OTP verification and account recovery).
• Academic & Exam Preferences: Target exam selection (e.g., CBSE Class 9-12, SSC CGL, Railway RRB, Banking), stream, and language preference.
• Learning & Performance Analytics: Quiz scores, accuracy percentage, time per question, streak counters, and completed practice tests to generate personalized study recommendations.
• Technical & Device Data: Device model, Android OS version, IP address, unique device identifiers, and crash logs to resolve bugs and optimize performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly for legitimate educational and platform services:

• To provide authentic CBT mock tests and chapter-wise question banks.
• To deliver daily notifications for government vacancies, exam dates, admit cards, and results matching your selected target.
• To power the Parinaam Portal (allowing students and parents to view verifiable progress reports).
• To prevent fraud, multiple unauthorized account logins, and maintain data security.

Notice: We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information or phone numbers to third-party advertisers or data brokers under any circumstances.

4. Device Permissions Requested

The ExamGuruji Android Application requests only minimal, strictly required permissions:

• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to fetch live mock test questions, verify login status, and synchronize test results with cloud databases.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: (Android 13+) Used exclusively to send time-sensitive notifications for government job application deadlines, admit card releases, and daily quiz reminders. Users can disable notifications anytime in app settings.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with trusted industry-leading infrastructure partners who adhere to rigorous security standards:

• Google Firebase: Used for secure Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore database, and Cloud Messaging (FCM). (Google Privacy Policy)
• Supabase: Encrypted PostgreSQL backend storage for curriculum metadata.

6. Children's Privacy

ExamGuruji offers educational support for school students (Classes 9 to 12). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent. If a parent or guardian discovers that their child has provided personal details without consent, please contact us immediately, and we will promptly delete the data from our servers.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion (Play Store Requirement)

We retain your profile data as long as your account remains active. You possess the permanent right to request the complete deletion of your account and associated quiz records.
